Time has flown by this year. I’m just a few short months from finishing school, and then I’m officially a Functional Medicine Health Coach! I’m so excited but, if I’m honest, a bit nervous. Scratch that, quite a bit nervous. Did I mention I’m also excited?
What I’ve learned from the past year of starting a blog, going back to school, and starting a new job is that I can quickly lose myself in doing too much. Accepting that I can’t do it all, I have decided to close the Lifestyle Lab and rebrand my online presence.
In early 2020 I’ll be launching a new website: erikazink.com. There I will be focusing on sharing my thoughts about what health coaching is, and my take on positive psychology and behavior change. It may get a bit nerdy, but that is who I am. I’ll do my best to stay away from too many acronyms and technical terms.
I hope that you will enjoy learning with me as I share how functional medicine has helped me. I know that I am not the only one that struggles with perfectionism or deals with depression and anxiety. My experiences may not be the same as yours, but I do believe we can all learn from each other.
I’ll also share more about my adventures in the kitchen. Cooking with fresh ingredients and experimenting with new recipes is something that brings me tremendous joy. I’d like to share that with you all.
In the meantime, you can still follow me on Facebook or Instagram (@erika.m.zink). Thanks for partaking in this journey with me over the past year. I appreciate each and every one of you.
Best of luck to you in 2020!
